Women's Ministries is the term that covers all ministries offered to women in The Salvation Army.
The fundamental purpose of Women's Ministries is:
· To win women to Christ, encourage spiritual growth, and provide Christian fellowship.
· To work toward the betterment of the home, the community, the nation, and the world.
· To recruit soldiers and link families to the fellowship of believers.
Women play a vital and definitive roll in shaping society through their influence in the home and family. The aim of any Women's Ministries program is to provide Christian fellowship and practical help that will benefit not only the individual and her family, but also the nation. The programs are open to all women age 14 and older.
At the Salem Kroc Church, we realize there are a variety of different passions, ideas, and gifts, just as there are a variety of women! We hope to help you find your ‘niche’ in becoming a part of our Women’s Ministry Family, whether through:

Home League
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Teacup
Women’s Prayer Meetings
Women’s Bible Study
The Home League meets weekly and has the a fourfold theme which is incorporated into each meeting:
· Worship
· Service
· Education
· Fellowship
At times, the group will take field trips, attend conferences and retreats, and meet off-site to incorporate a variety of opportunities to reach women in the community.
